MadyMaze Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
MadyMaze is a mobile game developed and published by Bitmady (Prishtina, Kosovo). This policy explains what information MadyMaze collects, why, where it is stored and how you can delete it.
Information stored on your device
MadyMaze stores gameplay information locally on your device, including level progress, stars, scores, coins, keys, chests, items, unlocked modes, best-run recordings, customization choices and settings. This information is used to provide the game experience and stays on your device. It is removed when you delete your account in the app (see "Deleting your data") or when you delete the app.
Online account
When you open MadyMaze with an internet connection, the game automatically creates an anonymous online account. There is no sign-up: we never ask for your email, password or real name. Your online account contains:
- a random player ID and a secret key (our server stores only a one-way hash of the key)
- an invite code
- an optional username that you choose; it is shown publicly on leaderboards and to your friends, and offensive names are blocked
- your country, taken from your device's region setting, for country leaderboards
- game statistics: total stars, levels completed, rank and best Endless score
- your friends, friend requests, invite-code use and in-game notifications
We use this information only to provide leaderboards, friends, invites and rewards. It is stored with our database provider Supabase on servers in the European Union (Ireland).
Analytics, crash reports and session replay
We use PostHog, on servers in the European Union, to understand how MadyMaze is played, to balance the game and to fix bugs. PostHog collects:
- in-game events, such as levels started and completed, rewards claimed, in-game items bought with coins and settings changed
- device model, operating system and app version
- approximate location (country and city) derived from your IP address
- crash and error reports
- session replays: recordings of the game screen and your touches while you play (text fields are masked)
This information is linked to your anonymous player ID and, if you set one, your username. We do not use it for advertising.
What we do not do
MadyMaze shows no ads and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we never sell your information or share it with data brokers. The game does not access your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or camera.
Purchases
MadyMaze currently has no real-money purchases. Coins, keys, chests and items are earned in the game and have no cash value. If a future version adds advertising or in-app purchases, the store listing, the app and this policy will say so before they are used.
Feedback and support email
If you contact us by email, you may voluntarily send your email address, message and attachments. We use this information only to respond, provide support, investigate problems and improve MadyMaze.
Deleting your data
- In the app: Home → gear icon (top left) → Delete account → Delete. This immediately and permanently deletes your online account from our server (username, friends, friend requests, notifications and leaderboard entries) and all game progress on that device.
- Analytics data and support emails: email bitmadyltd@gmail.com and we will delete them.
- Deleting the app removes the information stored on your device, but not your online account. Use Delete account for that.
How long we keep information
Online account information is kept until you delete your account. Analytics data, including session replays, is kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.
Your rights
We process information to provide the online features you use and based on our legitimate interest in keeping MadyMaze working, secure and enjoyable. Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and the Law on Protection of Personal Data of Kosovo), you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to its processing, by emailing bitmadyltd@gmail.com.
Children's privacy
MadyMaze is suitable for everyone but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Usernames are optional. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared personal information with us, email bitmadyltd@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when MadyMaze features or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted here with an updated effective date, and store privacy disclosures will be updated when required.
